Churches abound in the city of Lexington in Kentucky. There are over three hundred churches in the city from different types of churches. Non denominational churches in Lexington KY co-exists side by side with the bigger denominational churches that everyone is familiar with. Perhaps about 5% of the churches comprise the non denominational ones. What do we mean when we say non denominational? These are the churches that are independent and not linked to any of the “big” churches such as Methodist, or Catholic or Presbyterian churches among others. It is an avenue where you can showcase your God-given talents such as singing, dancing, preaching and many more. A place of acceptance and understanding of human being’s differences. It is a place where you are not afraid of expressing who you are and where you came from; a venue where forgiveness is highly promoted.

Humans are bound to express their faith in the Lord, God. This is to show the Almighty Father how grateful we are of the blessings we received each day of our lives. Keeping our faith strong and healthy is not easy. We have weaknesses and most of the time these weaknesses are used against us by the devil. However, one must not fear for the Father knows what to do. True, that we and our are our faith are being put to test but knowing that we have our Lord to shield and protect us from all these challenges strengthens us.
